Joseph Benedict "Joe" Hockey (born 2 August 1965), Australian politician, has been the Liberal member of the Australian House of Representatives since March 1996, representing the Division of North Sydney, New South Wales. He was natural within Sydney, New South Wales, and was educated at Sydney University. He was the banking & finance attorney, & Director of Policy to the Premier of Future South Wales, prior to typing politics.

Hockey was Minister for Financial Services & Regulation 1998-2001 & Minister for Small Business and Touristry 2001-04. He has been Minister for Human being Services since October 2004.
